Push Art Tampa Bay is a group skateboard deck art show curated by Matt Mewis in collaboration with Skatepark of Tampa / Tampa AM, The Bricks, and Shapes Skateboard Distribution.

This show was born from a desire to showcase the incredible talent of friends, old and new, who have creatively influenced me over the years—including skateboarders, filmmakers, graphic designers, photographers, musicians, painters, crafters, and more.

The event will feature over 100 original works of skateboard art by artists from across the country. A portion of the proceeds from each board sale will benefit Boards for Bros, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to collecting and refurbishing skateboards for youth who can’t afford their own. Since 2006, Boards for Bros has provided skateboarding equipment, safe places to skate, and youth mentorship through its chapters in Tampa, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, and California.

Can’t make it to the show? You can donate directly to Boards for Bros here.

After the show closes, we’ll post photos of all the artwork here, along with information on how to purchase pieces online.
